Rules for the test event
Tyre wear: X2
Fuel consumption: X2
Qualifying: 20 minutes, as many laps as you want
Race laps: will be announced together with the track

the mod itself: Download Version 1.1 here or here
Flash's patch for the mod: Download here <- this is essential, otherwise you will get a mismatch.
the test event track: is still secret, will be announced on late Thursday, 2010-02-04*

Be sure to switch to the "F1 1993 fGw Edition" mod and buy a car there.
Teams and Drivers for Test Event
Why a sign up anyway? Because I don't want four Alain Prosts to race against seven Ayrton Sennas. Also, with the sign up we have an estimate how many drivers will probably show up.

I want the senna seat pleeease, but I can't race on sunday because of it's my birthday on friday, and during all the weekend, it will be a party with friends...(i will be 25years old).....so I will be unable to race with you guys, sorry!

I'd love to use Damon's Williams-Renault but the engine sound is poo & the t-cam view isnt great either.

i've made a 30 laps test race with tyresx2
you can use medium tyres during ten laps(I'm agressive)
and tyre wear x2 is very interesting, because of the pitstops are very fast at kyalami, and you can lost a lot of time with used tyres on track....so tyre wear x2 is a good choice for race.
and you should make few laps with 200L in tank before the race, it's just an advice, but the car is not at all the same!!! |

wes wanted to join prob lotus with harry but hes having cable trouble so he cant get on line for a week or two , if you do sign drivers after the practice race can you count wes in please , in the lotus .

First of all, here is the track we will drive on sunday at the test race: Phoenix Street Circuit (fGw Edition without speed limit in pit lane).
We will drive 40 laps (half race distance) with tyre wear and fuel consumption set to "X2".
(yeah, 40 sounds a lot, but the race length should be about 50-55 minutes, so it's only 5-10 minutes more than usual)
Moulich will close the server at around 10 pm today and then load the track - so be aware if you're on the server at that moment.
Installation instructions: Copy the "fgw_tracks" directory in the rar file to \rFactor\Locations
The track will be listed under "FGW-TEAM.com Tracks" in the game menu.
On a side note, I got that information from the modding group today:The TC and ABS have a weight penalty that was just an oversight. We'll fix that in the next patch. As I understand the next patch will be coming soon, so maybe we can start the season (and pre-season testing) with the original mod (that means that we might acquire new players who join our server).
