Hi fellow drivers,
after the last Formula One 2009 race today at Abu Dhabi, the server will be changed to the now available Formula One 1993 mod.
Two tracks will be uploaded at first: Kyalami and Montreal. Other tracks may follow soon. Please not that there may be an updated version of the Kyalami track soon as well. I'll inform you when it's released and uploaded.

Just some small advices:
In this mod the "Engine Boost" is nothing else than "Fuel Mixture". A higher setting means that you consume much more fuel, but also get more engine power from it (but remember that there's no refuelling in the race in 1993!). A higher setting does
not mean that your engine might expire earlier.
1993 cars behaved totally different from nowaday's cars. So some new approach to creating your setup might be required. These cars had a lot of understeering and you might find yourself lowering the ride height to deal with it. That's not bad though, just look at
this video.
Our League mod for the next season?
Please leave your comments if we should (or shouldn't) use this mode for our next season.
We would have the chance for rather similiar circumstances as in the real 2010 Formula One season because the rules are rather similar: 26 cars, no refuelling in the race, narrow front tyres and ... Michael Schumacher
In my opinion, this is one of the best rFactor mods of the last months, although (or perhaps because) the cars are not as easy to handle as the cars of the 2000s mods.
