Why only 1 week between hungary & europe m8?
Surely this will mess up the other mod calendar when it's made.

Just a suggestion, so that we are in sync with the F1 calendar (=> F1 race day = fGw race day). Judging by the mood of my girlfriend this seems to be a good idea, because otherwise every(!) weekend would be "blocked" by F1, either real F1 or fGw F!

M8 the calendar isnt supposed to follow the real races... we havnt done that for a long time really.
For the last 2 or 3 seasons it's always been 1 week F1 - next week other mod.
Dont want to seem rude but you can't base the league schedule around your girlfriends wishes lol.
1 week F1, following week tintop/other mod is normal procedure.

It's not about MY girlfriend, It's about ALL OUR girlfriends Anyway, I was talking to Cabo and Moulich before posting the calendar and ... at least they didn't say no But I'll talk to them again about your comment (or they both write something here, that would be even better). I'm confident we'll find a solution.

To me, its ok, we can make the tintop calendar with that.
Furthemore, if we make a race every 2 weeks, we will finish after Christmas.. As Christmas is a friday, the last race will be the sunday 27th December. So, I guess we have to make it quick anyway.. (dontknow |

Maybe i forgot to comment that sputnik.
I would like to have a touring car championship in between.
The big vote went to the endurance. Now we need to plan that championship.
I will open a subforum for that mod

Does this champ really need to be completed this year?
Maybe it would be better to remove 1 or 2 circuits if it does.
I just looked at the old league calendar from 2008 & we're starting this almost 1 month later, nobody's fault as we were waiting for the mod i know.
So i think either remove a race or 2, or let it run into 2010 for the last few races. (icon_thumright

I think its better to finish it before 2010even if we cancel somes races.
You know already we finish the league with few drivers.. It can be less after the christmas/new year time. |

I wouldn't mind starting a week later (would mean we would be in sync with real F1 for the last few real races) and perhaps doing a short break during christmas holidays and then finishing in early 2010.
Starting a week later would also make it possible to fill up all the car seats. Seems like we don't need more than 20 cars at the moment...

I know we dont postpone races in between, during the season. But we are now just deciding when to start etc. That's different i think.

OK guys, I talked to Cabo and we decided on this:
The season will start NEXT WEEK (20th September) and races will be held every two weeks. I've updated the schedule above.
Starting just next week will have several pro's:
- Acura can join the first race
- we will be in sync with real F1 at least for the last 3 races
- we have one more week to find a solution to the parc ferme problem (I asked WCP but have no answer yet)
- we have one more week to fill up the remaining car seats
Sorry for any inconvenience. I was really hoping to start the season this weekend, but I think the above mentioned is the better way to do the season.

hi all,
read the decision now.
than i have to skip 1st race at nurburgring and maybe 3rd race at 18.10.
i have organized my private dates about the "old" race dates. now i made dates at the weekends between, but now they are race weekends.
but i wish you nice races. i think at the 2nd race i can be there.

Always drive as fair as it possible.

Important: Our next F1 race will start earlier due to the real life F1 race.
Schedule for the European GP on 2009/10/18:
15:30 CET - Official Practice
16:00 CET - Qualifying
approx. 16:30 CET - Race
The race will last for approx 50 minutes, so we will be finished by 17:20 CET. The real F1 Brazilian grand prix starts 40 minutes later.
