If you have any complaints about a situation that happened in the last race or qualifying, post it here. We will analyze them and give penalties if necessary.
Try to be fair and only long for race control if it's really necessary.
Thread Rules
Only 3 posts per situation will be allowed. Further posts will be deleted.
- 1 Post from the person protesting, telling us which lap, what turn and what driver was trouble.
- 1 Post from the person being accused, explaining his point of view or his reasons.
- 1 Post from the person in charge with the verdict and the reason of the verdict.

Updated for the new sign-ups.
Also, I decided that not taking part in a race will be treated the same as a DNF outside the points, which means people who sign up in the middle of the season will not start with the default 5% penalty. Instead they will get 3% less for each race they missed (just as if they finished outside the points in those races).
People who join in the middle of a season already have a disadvantage in terms of points, so there's no reason why they should get the initial 5%.

Penalties for cutting in the 3rd Round (Zolder):
- (fGw) Wez +20s (drive-through equivalent) to the race result for cutting multiple times
- (fGw) Lucky Jackson +20s to the race result for cutting multiple times and a warning, which means next penalty for cutting will be a DQ.
Race Positions after Penalties:
Code01 (+0) (fgw)geoff meade 47'28"870 0'00"000
02 (+0) (fGw) Kronos 47'32"072 0'03"202
03 (+0) (fGw)Harryseknim 47'32"612 0'03"742
04 (+0) Pougness 47'32"728 0'03"858
05 (+0) (fGw)MonstrousAcura 47'35"921 0'07"051
06 (-1) (fGw)Flash 48'04"733 0'35"863
07 (+1) (fGw) WEZ 48'18"599 0'49"729
08 (-1) (fGw)cabo-2 48'22"653 0'53"783
09 (-1) (fGw)Moulich 48'26"194 0'57"324
10 (+2) (fGw)Lucky Jackson 48'29"279 1'00"409
11 (+0) (fGw)E-yan 48'21"891 +1 laps
Comment on penalties:
Wez and Lucky cut the track a lot, Wez about 12 times and Lucky about 19 (for comparison: others had a maximum of 4), which is why they got penalties. Lucky straight lined shicanes multiple times as well, which was even pointed out during the race on TS. That is already enough for a DQ from Zolder, but as it's the first time, it was replaced with a warning, that next time Lucky will get a DQ if he gets penalized for cutting. If anyone's interested in which cuts were taken into account I can provide the times of the cuts for the replay.
Also, if someone else straight lines schicanes multiple times in a race from now on there will be DQs.

OI how do you arrive at that i just watched the first 9 laps depening on your version of cutting you done it once
Long story short, as I wrote in the rules page, there's a tool on the server which records all the cuts, I then filtered them out so that only those where someone might have gained time or overtaken someone are left and then watched them on the server replay to check which of them are actually valid cuts.... and ignored the ones from lap 1.
I've looked only at the cuts on the schicanes and tried to be fairly liberal on the definition of cuts, as I didnt want to penalize for the slight ones, so:
- In the first schicane, I marked a cut if someone was completely off the red-and-white part of the curb (2nd corner of the schicane), which also means half his car was on the gravel.
- In the second schicane a cut was marked if someone had 4 wheels on the grass in turn 1 of the schicane or about half a car on the gravel in turn 2.
- In the last schicane at the end of the lap you had to have 4 wheels on grass in either turns.
The numbers I've mentioned earlier were based on that process.
I've sent You a PM with the exact times of Your cuts I've taken into account.

I'd also like to report Wez for what he did in the last lap.
Starts at the 4th corner of lap 30. Wez gets a puncture, overtakes me by cutting the track and still blocks me to defend his position.
That's the second time in a row that he does something stupid. Please look into it. I cant decide anything since I'm involved in the "incident".

I would call it a racing incident.
First off, there were 2 collisions, the hard 2nd one was the result of the much lighter 1st, so I'm gonna focus on the 1st.
From Acura's perspective, he overtook Geoff on the entry to the first corner, had to lift, because he wasnt on the optimal entry line, but thought he was still in front and just followed his line, he didnt do any sharp moves. When he was getting closer to the next apex they collided.
From Geoff's perspective, he was overtaken on the entry, saw that Acura had to lift and decided on a tighter line at full speed to try and recover his position, he thought he was side-by-side with Acura into the next apex and expected that Acura is going to leave him room. Unfortunately Acura didnt think they were that close and continued turning, cutting out Geoff.
The accident could've been avoided by both sides:
Geoff could've backed off (which is what Acura expected) - Even if Acura left room and they got side-by-side, Geoff would've been on the outside to the next long right-hander, so he would have to let Acura pass anyway.
Acura could've left space (which Geoff expected) - He should've known that Geoff was on the inside, side-by-side or not. Leaving some space he would still be in a better position to the next corner and he shouldn't have problems defending it on the straight with Porsche's power advantage.
It's hard to say who was right or wrong in this situation, which is why this is just a racing incident.
As far as the second collision goes, I dont think it was avoidable. After the 1st collision, Geoff's front wheels were in the air, so he couldnt brake in time. That said he only started braking when half his car was already on grass, which probably made the contact more severe. That's the only real thing I could punish for if there was a lot of damage to the car.
The incident is similar to Hamilton and Massa's collision in the Indian GP, one side will say there was no need for trying to overtake there, other side will say that the guy in front should've left room anyway. In the end both sides have a fair point.
